Intermediate Tango Classes
Our Intermediate classes are to help students learn better techniques and move from being beginner dancers to being impressive dancers.
What You'll Learn
Students learn to apply the giro shapes throughout the different steps and stages of the dance. This includes musicality and the way that the giro is used in time to the music to ensure the best possible skillset.
A full, intensive review of leading and following turns effectively. This provides an in-depth review of how to properly turn, spin, and pivot during the tango and ensures that students can effectively and correctly do them.
Barrida and Arraste
Our instructors explain the differences between these too types of moves and styles. Then, students are taught how to complete them so they have new skills to add to their repertoire.
More Advanced Movements
We spend time applying the giro system to crosses, ochos, and other aspects of the dance that have already been covered. This helps provide more fundamentals that can be used in dance.
Direction and Distance
Our instructors work with students to help them understand more about distance, direction, and how the two elements can work together to provide better improvisation and more confidence during each session.
These are more advanced fundamentals including how to practice effectively and how to combine all of the skills that have been covered up to this point to be the best dancer you can possibly be.
