PRE-ADVANCED TANGO CLASSES: Discoveries (8 weeks)
Pre-advanced tango classes works in 8 week series. You can join any series at its beginning. If you miss the first 4 weeks please have a courtesy of taking private lesson to catch up with the rest of the group.
First 4 weeks of series focuses on technique and exercises. Second 4 weeks puts the new element in use by creating sample combination(s).
Pre-Advanced Tango Classes Course is our most popular tango course and based on your feedback we restructured them to allow more time for practicing sample combinations and exercises necessary to understand the element taught during class for its mechanics and technique.
If you are ready to really dig into the technique and structure all Argentine Tango elements one by one, open to understand the mechanics of the movement and structure of the dance, practice the ability to read the direction, recreate beautiful lead every time and focus on musicality – that’s what this course is about!
If you already going out to the Milongas but feel you vocabulary need some enrichment, that you are missing some information about technique, mechanics, and connection that makes it difficult for you to move forward to the next level of dancing – this is the course for you.
Once you are out of intermediate level you can take and retake this course as many times as you wish. If you never heard of the element that we are focusing on at any given series – this is the best course to take in order to understand them. If you are already dancing the element but you have doubts about the technique this class will benefit you too. For first timers: take all series to widen your horizons. For old foxes – come to classes that are of your interest.
This course is meant as an INTRODUCTION of more advanced elements. It is a deep introduction with all the details and monton of exercises to make you actually capable of dancing them. At the same time please be prepare that you will encounter in the class students freshly graduated from Intermediate level as well as those who are taking our classes for years and are truly advanced dancers. PLEASE RESPECT EACH OTHER. Bite your tongue and refrain from loud comments about who should or should not be in the class. Please remember that everyone has to start somewhere and today’s Beginner can be tomorrow’s pro-dancer. At the end we will all happily meet at the Milonga.
Of course we assume you already now the elements taught in BEGINNER, PRE-INTERMEDIATE and INTERMEDIATE Tango classes. Visit www.UltimateTango.com to read through and make sure you know it all. Those elements will be freely used during combinations. So you don’t wanna be asking how to lead or follow basic to the cross. You shall be focusing on your new elements.
